Snow condition
Downhill run still possible. With Combatskiing also partly off-piste. Much better at the top, but in the meantime the shark scanner has to work cleanly again, especially after the cosmetic overlays of approx. 10-25cm.
Snow quality
There is of course fine preserved powder in the north faces. Unfortunately, there are so few north-facing slopes in Lötschentahl .... ;) But even on the sunny slopes, at some point it will be the finest slush and you'll be surfing again. Otherwise, it's better to go faster than too slow so as not to give the crust any surface to attack.
Risks
There are certainly still one or two parcels somewhere from the heavy drifts since Saturday. After the strong transformation on Sunday, they are more likely to be a large collection of clickers. So overall rather favorable. The low sunny slopes are certainly to be reconsidered with the risk of sliding snow.
Overall impression
Three days, one star more every day. Started in a storm with powder, so at least 2. The fresh snow certainly makes the whole undertaking even finer. But even so, you're always on a voyage of discovery behind the hills and you find exciting gullies and crevasses. As well as fine fields with wonderful views.
