The north jam has reached just over the main ridge. While only 15cm arrived in the valley, the measuring station at the top showed 75cm. Downhill runs are possible, but not without ground contact. Solid base from lauchernalp. However, rock contact must be expected almost everywhere.

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne

As it had stormed heavily in the valley for two days, expectations for Wednesday were low. When we got to the top, things looked much better. Every turn a faceshot. At 2pm someone turned on the jet and the powder was gone. The sun is already blazing and today it will already have a cap in places.

Risks

Wednesday a 4. Thursday a 3. We could see smaller boards on the wind edges in the busy variant terrain. Otherwise only sluff.Wednesday afternoon grew with the wind within minutes. Some of the fresh snow was completely blown away. On Thursday it was also blowing. We couldn't see any skier-made boards. The succession of blasts near the crest was impressive.

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne

Wednesday 5 stars, Thursday 3 stars gives a solid 4.
It's rarely been this good this winter.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
