Snow condition

Thanks to the fresh snow of the past few days, it doesn't look bad at all. At the very top, there should be around 30-40 cm of fresh snow. So that there is no more bare ice on the slopes, it is at least enough for the time being.

Snow quality

Powdery conditions thanks to the cold temperatures. The snow held up well until midday. The snow cannons were running in the lowest part of the Tuxer Fernerhaus slope today, where it was rather hard and icy. Good piste conditions above.

Risks

The crevasses are all wide open and some of them are right next to the slopes (see pictures).

Overall impression

2 von 5 Sterne

With a cold front and a snow line below 2000m, the board simply had to be brought out of its summer break. It was worth going to the Hintertux Glacier, the slopes were powdery soft and there was even enough powder for a few first turns right next to the piste

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
