A dream at higher altitudes. At lower altitudes, a mixture between icy and slushy.
Snow quality
Sensational set powder in the Schwadrinn and the upper part of the Edelgrieß. In the morning still a bit hard in the traverse to the cable car, then very slushy and soaked from midday.
Risks
Some drift snow packages present. Spontaneous avalanches due to the sunlight on steep, rocky terrain. LWS 2 applied and was not to be underestimated in steep terrain with drift snow.
Overall impression
Dreamy until midday, then increasingly worse.
