This morning, sheltered from the wind, a good 40 cm of fresh snow, over the day half a meter would be full. The base is also good, no worries when shooting through the forest.
Snow quality
Nice powder from top to bottom, the base was mostly soft. Only in areas exposed to the wind did you rarely feel hard ground.
Risks
I was traveling between 1,000 and 1,900m. Above the tree line, the wind was already blowing at freight strength and I would also avoid steep sections between the trees. Small boards have also been triggered below the tree line. If the nice weather allows more tomorrow, defensive behavior is certainly appropriate.
Overall impression
Very good day with mostly bottomless snow. Visibility was nothing of course, but it's nice in the forest. @Chris: I would postpone your session tomorrow if at all possible.
Thanks to Orakel, it was a top weekend. I don't think I've ever had that either, I skied fresh snow on Saturday in the south and Sunday in the north.
