Snow condition

Enough snow even in the forest below, blown off at the very top, but doable with an anticipatory driving style without stone contact.

In the lower area, where it has rained in and the forest paths are often icy, further up powder partly with minimal crust

Risks

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

The avalanche danger has calmed down, the rain has left enough snow and with the forecast temperatures it should still be possible to start in the valleys for a while. The forest trails were very unpleasant to ski on because deep ruts were made by tractors used by timber workers. The tire tracks were like an icy bobsleigh track with no possibility of braking. The central reservation was also too narrow for cornering, often not even wide enough for a brake plow. Speed control was difficult at times.
Of course, I wasn't alone at the summit, but overall the rush was limited.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
