Since there was almost no snow in the Allgäu until Saturday, the little bit of snow has so far not reached anywhere except for my new favorite discipline, meadow shredding as German called it. If it were only meadows, today the whole program, stone and root shredding included. You can ride in the valleys with a lot of good will, but of course only on meadows and they should be without cows in summer. Otherwise it gets a bit trickier. At 1200m then around 30cm, at summits around 2000m maybe half a meter in some "beautiful" places.

The snow was relatively good. Wet snow up to about 1200m, then powder-like. Not bad for skiing. At 1600 hrs there was light snowfall, but it was rain in the valley.

Risks

In the Allgäu up to 2000m altitude, in my opinion still "without hesitation" at the moment. Too little snow and this is the first.

The good news is that you can ski here again, the bad news is that there is still a long way to go.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
