Snow condition
Finally 'normal'. The snowfall of the last week has provided a good base right down into the valley. The only exceptions are very dense forest areas and extremely wind-exposed ridges and ridges. On top of that, an average of 15cm by the morning.
Snow quality
Almost everywhere the most beautiful, fluffy fresh snow on a butter-soft base, partly a little wind-compressed at the top. In the previously heavily used terrain, the tracks from yesterday are still disturbing, but there was too little fresh snow, so no 5*
Risks
LLB: Level 2 below, level 3 above 2000m. The wind influence was clearly visible above the tree line. In addition to the undoubtedly existing drift snow, the warning service also indicates unstable old snow as a source of danger, but only south of the Inn. I had the impression that the old snow cover here is quite stable.
Overall impression
A bluebird day with fresh snow and little competition, what more could you want? The usual competitors were unable to attend due to exams, but a spontaneous replacement was quickly found in the gondola. A great day with a great guy! (if you're reading this, thanks again!)
