Ticino is well covered in snow. Massive from the starting point at 1600m. No more enemy contact possible. A lot is possible. Only the north-facing basins were almost completely cleared during the last heavy snowfall. But you can still find fun stuff.

Settled powder with lots of surface frost. In contrast to Hannes' report from yesterday, I found the snow rather slow... Sometimes strange to drive, but that's complaining on a high level.

Risks

The last snowfall has cleared out large areas of the northern basin. Many of the gullies that have not been cleared have been used. Ascent like a minefield. Otherwise everything made a stable impression. Watch out for sluff. Ripe surface and predicted snowfall = ohoh!

Top day, with a huge crowd. But there was still room a few meters away from the classics

The surface hoop kept sliding along - and conjured up beautiful patterns in the snow - and made a wonderful tinkling sound.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
