A lot has thawed here too, the snow conditions were better at this time of year, but also worse. You can still start to some extent from the top of the pass, especially on the north side, so tours are still worthwhile at the moment, but the snow is rapidly decreasing.
Snow quality
Summer snow here too, depending on the timing but still quite nice, from half past 10 it was quite slowing and sometimes rather deep, but before that quite good summer firn.
Risks
I would describe it as relaxed. Still watch out for cornices and, in the event of precipitation, for warming again.
Overall impression
Nice, unfortunately we were on the only summit that was already in the clouds in the morning.
