Snow condition
It's been over a week since the last snowfall. The high temperatures are eating away at the snow cover and the last few meters are covered with grass and stones. Above 2500 m it looks much better. But even here the snow won't last forever if it stays this warm
Snow quality
Sulz Sulz and even more Sulz. Many descents are difficult to ski due to avalanche cones that have frozen hard overnight, which are no fun even when softened and are sometimes difficult to ski around. Near the pistes, everything is tracked, but if you want you can still find a few lonely spots but mostly with modest snow quality. The snow also has a melt and/or wind cover on the north side.
Risks
Above the Vallons du Pra, a surprising number of snow slabs have been triggered. Mostly blasting with the helicopter, but the increased avalanche activity from last week is also visible in the touring terrain. Currently, the avalanche danger has decreased, but be careful when touring in exposed areas close to the ridges. There are old weak layers and the avalanche heights from last week's drift snow are sometimes enormous.
Overall impression
As long as it stays this warm, you can continue to enjoy "la soupe" in the area or get up early and head for some of the great ski tour destinations in the Belledonne.
