Yesterday there were surprisingly 10-15cm of freshies. A lot more due to the snow on the northern slope. Good skiing down to the bottom, except for some contact with the enemy under the fresh snow on the ridge, quite usable for March.

Great to ride! Beautifully set powder and either cold fresh powder or blown-in powder on top. Every now and then you notice an old lid in less shady passages, but there wasn't a single really bad turn.

Risks

The 1 below 2400m from the Llb was more of a clear 2 for me on site, especially in blown-in areas. Some small and medium drift snow packs were clearly visible. There were also a few cracks in the tracks and floes in the extremely steep terrain. Otherwise there was hardly any daytime ascent today.

Not expecting much, started late and cleared out completely. Apart from us, there was no one else at the summit, the sun came out at midday, a nice gully on the ridge was also possible and we even ploughed up some virgin rock at the bottom! A very successful day
