Snow condition

Just 2 stars, even if it looks bad at the bottom. But there are still great descents with 1200-1300 meters of altitude possible. The lowest few meters won't last much longer though...

Snow quality

Saturday: A full 4 stars. Set powder at the top (>2700m), then butter firn. Nice and fast summer snow at the bottom. Sunday: 2-3 stars. Only some powder at the top, but most of it already tracked, pressed or warm, firn in the middle, then unfortunately slow and boggy at the bottom.

Risks

Not much of a problem on Saturday, everything was quite compact, but today there is a lot of wet snow activity and you should also watch out for the snow mouths and the snow bridges under which considerable amounts of meltwater are flowing. They won't last long.

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne

Saturday was certainly one of the top 5 of my season, completely lonely, huge cirque with super snow from top to bottom, today then already a clear loss of quality due to the crazy heat, also very tracked.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
