Below approx. 1500 meters, sporadic enemy contact is to be expected, above that it is good.
Snow quality
30-35cm of nice fluffy powder, snow at least up to the knee on every turn :-) With decreasing altitude, it's significantly less, but still really good. The only problem then is that you keep crashing through onto the hard/partially missing surface.
Risks
The upper lifts near the ridge were still closed, so I got a very limited impression. The wind was extremely strong overnight and still very strong this morning. Also, in my opinion, the fresh snow didn't bond well with the old snow cover.
Overall impression
Nice early morning exercise :-) The sun came out at lunchtime, so it's quite possible that the snow will be nothing more tomorrow. The fresh snow is good in any case.
