Still really little snow. I'm not in Hochfügen all the time, but I've never experienced so little snow there - you can ski off-piste, especially above ~2000m. The good load of fresh snow (a good 30cm) also helps a little further down, but then it's quickly just not enough.you actually have to expect contact with the ground almost everywhere, the handbrake stays on.

Lots of fresh snow, unfortunately very warm for the most part. In the highest areas it was almost ok, but in general the top 10cm of fresh snow was very wet, which didn't make skiing so great. Sure, it could have been worse, but it wasn't really that much fun... I don't want to be like that and give it 3 stars, barely...

Risks

The fresh snow was easy to disturb, and often came off as a very heavy sluff, but often also as a board, which I think combines quickly in the high temperatures, but restraint is the order of the day, at least in the meantime.

Overall impression

Quantity of fresh snow top, really little going on for Easter Saturday, unfortunately snow quality rather average.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
