Snow condition

There's not much you can do about it at the moment. About 1.5m at the start at 1500m, at 2000m it will probably be a good 2m. No blown-off ridges or crests even above the tree line.

Snow quality

Very fine, cold, settled powder on the north side even at 1500m at the start. On the south side, below around 2100m there was a light covering of harsch, above that also nice powder. On the south side in particular, however, there was a light cover of windswept snow, for which there are deductions, although you don't necessarily have to go there...

Risks

There was considerable output, and at 2000m there was some settling of the snowpack on the flat. However, the wind loads that were mainly warned about were not present, especially on the north side and in the gully, so I would classify it as a little less tricky.

Overall impression

5 von 5 Sterne

Wonderful snow in large quantities with good weather and a relatively relaxed avalanche situation. What more could you want?

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
