Unfortunately it's raining down in the valley today. Otherwise the conditions are just as great as yesterday! Rain up to 1000m, snow above. A lot. A lot.

Snow quality

5 von 5 Sterne

Fluffy and not heavy as initially thought in the rain in the valley. Fell without the influence of wind and simply first class! Another 60cm since last night.

Risks

Official 4 today, which is why we don't stay far from the piste. Nothing slides in the forest. The blasters were at work early and have mostly blasted away wind-blown snow. We're just afraid of tree avalanches today. The fir trees carry so much that it's easy to get buried under them ;)

Overall impression

5 von 5 Sterne

New best day - just like yesterday. And probably tomorrow too, because it's still snowing and a bluebird is on the cards tomorrow! If the snow settles now and comes to rest, winter is safe in the Upper Valais, the base is fat and the gully projecting can begin!

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
