Starting from the bottom, we had to carry our skis up to the first bend of the mogul slope (750m). From then on you could put on your skins and go! Up to the bypass (850m) the descent was still possible! From the bypass upwards it goes well! From about 1100m there is also enough snow to ski off-piste, you always have to watch out for stones on the Untersberg anyway. From the Schweigmühl (1400m) it's perfect!

At the bottom, the snow was slightly hard, but not so hard that you needed irons. Above 1100m there was even about 30 cm of powder snow on the shaded side. Where the sun is shining there is firn and in some places it is a bit windswept.

Risks

harmless. A snow slab probably slipped 2-3 days ago in the extremely steep terrain on the grass mat.

Cool! I didn't think it would go so well. There were a few powder turns too!

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
