Since it's actually still quite ok for mid-May, I'll give it 3 stars, but only just. you can start either in Kühtai on the closed slopes, a little further down it's still possible, but only on pure north-facing slopes.

Excellent firn today, early descent necessary due to the advanced season and the warm weather! I skied down a very steep east-facing slope at 7:45, which was actually perfect, but on flatter slopes I could have skied a little later. On the south side, I would plan the descent for around 9. After clear nights, it's still pretty good.

Risks

At higher altitudes, I would still watch out for drift snow on steep shady slopes, otherwise I would rely on the daytime warming.

Definitely one of the better tours of the season, great descent in perfect firn, warm weather and you're rarely completely alone in Sellrain. Unfortunately forgot my camera
