The snow conditions are still ok thanks to a good base. In the valley at 900m, only about 5 cm of fresh snow. At the parking lot at 1550m already 15cm of fresh snow. Sometimes 20cm in places in the area. Often a very good base, but sometimes just fresh snow on meadows.
Snow quality
3 stars for the quality of the fresh snow. It is cold and there have been one or two face shots in the steeps. However, the hard base from the fair weather phase is almost always present and spoils the fun somewhat. The best place was in the light forest just below 2000m.
Risks
According to LLB 2, the amount of fresh snow is not yet that great, but it is falling all day with wind. Difficult to judge above the tree line due to visibility.
Overall impression
After the long thirsty stretch, we finally have supplies again. With the fresh snow, we are now back where we were 11 days ago: a great base for a phase with lots of snowfall!
