Snow condition
From about 1100m ok. Further back in the Stubachtal even quite good, in places over 1 meter. Even at the summit there was no blow-off, only small cornices. The valley seems to be quite sheltered from the wind. No stone or grass contact.
Snow quality
Powder set on a stable base between 10 and 30 cm. Not quite fine but nice to ride.
Risks
I find it quite relaxed. No loose snow slides, no cracks, no signs of wind apart from the cornices.
Overall impression
Not bad at all! Stubachtal was the right decision. Unfortunately, the sun didn't make it through the clouds.
