Snow condition

4 von 5 Sterne

Still lots of snow down to the valley. Ridges and ridges are partly free due to strong winds

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne

Fun to ride in sleet powder. In places, 40 cm deep due to the wind. Slabs of ice in between. Snowfall limit was around 900 m

Risks

Old snow-covered sliding snow avalanches could be seen. The mixture of fresh snow and sleet was also just melting away... it didn't have a good grip in the steep forest. Fresh drift snow due to the strong wind could also be seen

Overall impression

2 von 5 Sterne

More snow is needed to get things moving again. In the meantime, it's still worth it if you have time off anyway. Slopes are also in good condition. It will be interesting to see how the sugar snow behaves in combination with strong winds and fresh snow tomorrow

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
