Snow report Brandnertal / Rätikon, 02/18/2017
Ja es gibt noch Pow aber nur in den höheren Lagen ... weiter unten lohnt sich nichtmal das Auffellen.

Snow condition
It's getting steep. Above 1800m you can still ride without coming into contact with rocks (except in blown-out areas). Below that it becomes more critical. However, everything below 1500m is absolute horror ... On north-facing slopes it's still possible to a certain extent, but on south-facing slopes you can actually ski a bit gravely.
Snow quality
The two stars are only there because above 1800m on north-facing slopes with little traffic you can actually still clear "pow". Otherwise it quickly gets slushy in the south and there's a decent cover to be found in the east.
Risks
Rather uncritical, except for the snow-covered gullies which are always risky due to the well-known old snow problem. In the south, it could now also be dangerous due to wet snow avalanches.
Overall impression
Offpist in the morning and a bit of flying position practice in the park in the afternoon (when Pow comes again, it's the drops' turn). Great people and bright sun. But I wouldn't call it a freeriding dream.
