Overall impression
Snow condition
Unfortunately, yesterday's precipitation only came down as snow from 1400 - 1600 m above sea level. So there was about 20 cm of fresh snow above 1600 m on a grippy to hard surface
Snow quality
Today's foehn storm caused a lot of snow to be transported. Nevertheless, there was good powder in places. Below 1400 m a cover / broken snow
Risks
considerable above 1800m. During the course of the day, foehn winds caused the snow to become dangerously embedded in gullies / hollows in places.
Overall impression
They are content with less - and look enviously at the southern side of the Alps.
