Snow condition

Overnight and throughout the day, 30 to 40 cm of fresh snow has fallen. Even more under the influence of wind. You can still get through quite often on the old snow cover. Good working knees and intervertebral discs are a prerequisite.

Snow quality

Good to very good. Partly without old snow contact and ground contact. Steep sections unfortunately slipped after the first run because the snow was unable to bond with the ground. Below the tree line, the snow fell without the influence of wind. Above it was heavily worked.

Risks

The situation became trickier towards the afternoon. Strong winds from the northwest with snowfall put a lot of pressure on the snow cover. You can see the tension in it due to the formation of clods. Defensive driving should be a top priority tomorrow.

I had a very good day today. I've already got some heat plasters for my intervertebral discs.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
