Snow condition
Thin, but sufficient. On the ascent, we "found" large stones a few centimetres deep a few times with our poles. On the descent, stones were blown free in a shallow traverse. Otherwise we were able to ski down without any contact with the enemy.
Snow quality
10-15 cm of fluffy fresh snow without the influence of wind :-) The layer underneath was not always completely homogeneous, but all in all it was great fun.
Risks
In the hilly terrain, I triggered the loose fresh snow on a mini slope that was a good 40 degrees steep. Otherwise, we were in terrain with temperatures of around 30 degrees, which was absolutely problem-free. I would expect drift snow in exposed areas.
Overall impression
It was originally intended as exercise therapy...sufficient visibility and a good descent were even better :-)
