Snow condition
There has been almost 60cm of fresh snow in the last few days. This has improved the snow conditions. However, it's still below average for the beginning of March. Skiing in the forest is bad to impossible. Downhill runs are slushy but still possible.
Snow quality
In the morning it was a dream with sunshine and 60cm of powder. However, the sun quickly baked the snow - 4 stars in the morning!
Risks
There has been a lot of blasting - some of the avalanches have penetrated right to the bottom. Otherwise, you have to pay close attention to the daytime warming. The fresh snow has fallen here with little wind and so any drift snow is difficult or impossible to recognize.
Overall impression
It could be winter all over again. The amount and quality of snow this morning was almost unique this season.
