Little. Nothing at lower altitudes, on alpine meadows you can start from about 1200m. Many areas have been swept clean, even higher up it doesn't look good. It's not possible without ground contact.

Snow quality

4 von 5 Sterne

Very good. Cold, dry powder was predominant here, between 5 and 25 cm deep depending on the wind. The crust under the layer of fresh snow doesn't bother us at all (at least with fat poles) and is really fine to ride, just not enough most of the time.

Risks

Up to medium altitudes, there is not enough snow almost everywhere for boards worth mentioning, the snow cover is also very unevenly distributed and often interrupted by protruding vegetation etc.. However, some areas higher up are certainly tricky, the wind has already worked hard. There is a risk of ground contact.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

Little snow, but it was great.
It was also nice that there wasn't much going on overall.
Unfortunately, the base for real tours in the BGL is missing, or you actually have to expect more or less ground contact everywhere.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
