Still ok at lower altitudes. As long as it's not south-facing, you can ski down into the valley (600m above sea level), but the higher altitudes look worse from day to day, so you can't really advise anything outside the forest.

In the higher forest areas, set powder that is nice to ski. On open slopes on the shaded side, there was still some great surface frost. During the course of the day it got very warm (start at -10° in the valley, by midday it was well above zero at the summit), so the snow in the lower forest was quite heavy and sticky, but if you can find untracked snow, it's generally fine. Unfortunately, that's it for now with the good snow all the way down.

Risks

Little in the lower and middle areas. Due to the warming, you have to be more careful on the south-facing slopes, but the snow is worse there anyway, otherwise the snow cover is very settled and stable. At high altitudes, however, there may still be a problem with old snow on the shaded side.

Beautiful, secluded tour with fine forest passages. A blessing after the hustle and bustle on the Woe. However, I should have left much earlier, in the early afternoon the snow in the lower forest was already very slow. Overall, almost everything is done in the BGL, even the big stuff (Hundstotreibm, Kloa Reibm, Kar, etc.) I can't understand it. The snow conditions are more than inadequate at high altitudes, all standard tours are heavily tracked, you have to be quite creative when choosing routes, but then it's still good.
