Unchanged from yesterday's report. Well below average. On the sunny side, the snow started to fall again as soon as it warmed up. Tendency: miserable.

There was still some powder to be found in the morning. But from midday onwards, the fun was over. The 0-degree limit rose well above 2,500 m!

Risks

Tricky. LLB level 3: Overnight, new snow packs formed again in exposed places (especially near the ridge), which are easy to trigger. Off-piste skiers triggered a medium-sized slab about 20-30 cm high and 30 m wide (luckily no one was among them). From midday onwards, a lot of loose snow slides came loose from steep slopes, some of which grew to a dangerous size.

Today was another top day, but a lot of snow will melt away again over the next few days due to the warming. On the sunny side, some of it will completely melt out again. What a pity.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
