Pleasant fresh snow cover, objectively approx. 15cm with little binding to the old snow cover. Heavily loaded on ridges. However, it must be mentioned that due to the below-average snow conditions, stone contacts are not uncommon.
Snow quality
The fresh coating makes you want more! Underneath it becomes compact, sometimes even wind-pressed. From 1800m it became soft around midday.
Risks
We saw smaller departures. According to the LLB, the situation is critical. The wind loads are clearly visible on ridges.
Overall impression
Was a great day with fresh snow. Despite the miserable winter, some beautiful variants were quite easy to ski.
