Very good base at the start of the tour at 1600m. After that, it declines relatively quickly. You can't complain about that. On the south-west side, it is partly aper to just under 2000m. Supplies are urgently needed here.

There is between 5-20cm of light powder on a very hard base. It slips easily on the ascent and crampons were necessary in some places. Great for skiing in sheltered areas. With a hard turn approach, you could always get through to the crust.

Risks

Relatively relaxed. There was little wind in the game that could have blown the whole thing away. There were also quite steep sections. Otherwise I didn't notice any fresh snow slabs or anything similar. Certainly more critical with more fresh snow, as the stuff slid relatively well on the rain crust. It will be interesting to see how this develops.

Super nice ski tour with a surprisingly good descent and great weather high above the fog.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
