Davos itself has a solid base. You can ski down into the valley without any major concerns. In Klosters, on the other hand, there is hardly any snow. Above 2000m there is a good base, but it is strongly influenced by the wind.

Snow quality

Very variable. Partly strongly influenced by the wind, partly very fluffy powder, in between you always come across icy layers, which can probably be explained by the fluctuating snow line. It was best in the not (

Risks

The fresh snow fell with a lot of wind. Drift snow packs were clearly visible, but I did not observe any triggering. Furthermore, there are warnings about old snow, which led to defensive planning.

Beautiful cruising day in the terrain with nice weather and good snow.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
