About 40 cm of fresh snow since Tuesday. From time to time you still come across a hard layer or stones. Be careful when choosing your route!

Great powder in the forest in the morning, which unfortunately got wet and heavy very quickly. Not much better at the top with lots of wind and closed lifts. Lots of wind blowing on and off the slopes. The quality was better the day before. Today, unfortunately, the zero degree limit put a spanner in the works. It was simply too warm

Risks

The whole day was spent blasting. Due to poor visibility and closed pistes and lifts, we were forced to stay relatively far down most of the time. Apart from warming up, no activity could be detected in the forest. When it only cleared up slightly, some pretty wild stuff was skied, fortunately without any descents. There were also some longer clear spells and good visibility, which allowed for a few good lines. With the wind and new drift snow, we're definitely in for a few tense days ahead

Slowly the base is getting good and you can soon let it go without worrying about man and material all the time. If visibility and the avalanche situation allow it, there's still a lot to be done at the top. Until then, I would enjoy the new snowfall in the Fornet forest until tomorrow
