Back here in the valley where hare and fox say LMAA to each other, all is still well with the world. At the weekend, despite warm temperatures on Saturday, only snow and no water fell from the sky. Fences are all completely snowed in and there's plenty on wind-exposed areas too.

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne

Quality changes greatly with altitude. In the 2000 - 1700 m range: Fresh snow layer with light cover underneath. Tends to be harsh.1700 - 1400 m: It was too warm here during the night to "cover". Snow a little heavier, but still good to ski.1400 - 1000 m: It's slowly becoming spring here. Heavy "powder". Therefore only three stars in total.

Risks

We avoided steeper terrain. Based purely on observation, the heavy snow on steep slopes is probably the problem back here.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

Solid three stars - in some other winters it might even have been four. We were on site from Friday to Sunday and were able to follow how everything developed quite well.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
