We have got a few sunny days in Engelberg with little bit of new snow and we´ve been enjoying the touring on the sunny side!

Couple of nice fill inns during the week but also one very strong föhn in the middle. It blew with over 100km/h so most of the snow was gone after it. Therefor a dense windcrust below the new snow and soft stuff on top of that. 5-30cm depending on aspect and elevation.

When skiing on an old debris or other bumpy slopes the bottom hits you pretty hard but if you can find a smooth surface it's quite enjoyable to ride fast with the new fluffy stuff on top of it. We should receive a good amount of snow tomorrow evening and night (around 20cm or so) so after that it should be good.

Risks

Danger has been relatively low, SLF says 2 and I would agree on that. Some sluff running on top of that windcrust but no sign of slabs so far. Have to be careful after the next dump if the snow picks up any wind on the way to the slopes.

Not over the head powder but still TOP3 days for us during this week. Enjoy the sun!
