Two weeks ago there was even less ground contact. Record amounts have not arrived here and the base has suffered somewhat. Nevertheless, you can start at just under 1700 m in the forest. Around 2000 m it is really sufficient and in grassy mountains and hollows you don't have to worry. Medium rocks are still quite uncovered and stony

In the forest somewhat more sheltered and still powdery in places, approx. 15 cm deep to the base. Otherwise mostly crusty and harsh. Overall pretty changeable...had expected more

Risks

No signs of avalanches observed as I was only out and about in the forest and on the slopes. However, the wind was definitely present and certainly caused avalanches in the middle and upper altitudes. Below 2000 m there was little to be felt.

Nice excursion. But for serious tours with dusty fresh snow, you have to go even higher and you'll certainly find what you're looking for on the north side.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
