Snow condition
At higher altitudes it is still sufficient. At some starting points you have to carry again, such as the Hochries region. Geigelstein from Sachrang is still possible from below, Kampenwand slopes should also still be possible. But I haven't been there these days. The cross-country ski trail on the Samerberg no longer exists either. Everything is green here. In the high altitudes you often find areas with 3 stars, but overall and mainly because you have to walk again, only just under 2 stars.
Snow quality
Spring conditions have been the order of the day. Otherwise often hard and forest roads very icy.
Risks
Very relaxed, in Bavaria completely 1. In the neighboring areas, very steep things have already been done in the last 2 days (Loferer Steinberge, Alpspitze). With the new snow, of course, it has to be reassessed, but there's nothing to worry about deeper in the snowpack for now.
Overall impression
Wait and see and hope for tomorrow. I've already had some great touring days here with super snow. There's also some snow on top so the base is right, even though it rained right up to the summit region.
Pics 1-4 from 10.12: day of the foehn storm (a ski flew away from us - no joke:D)
Pics 5-6 7.12: a few good turns but mostly still very little base, gliding snow almost everywhere an issue
Pic 7 27.12: Current from today - it has to be carried
