Snow condition
Close. Enough to more or less set off from the parking lot (less than 5 minutes' carry). We took the piste up to the Nörderscharte and then over the ridge. Little snow on the glacier, watch out for crevasses.
Snow quality
Ridge mostly free of snow, where there was still snow, it was stupid to walk because you got totally bogged down. On the glacier there was good firn snow. Descent back to the ski area via the north-facing variant, which goes down to the former Nörderjoch piste. Hard but grippy here, transitioning into firn. Very nice to ski.
Risks
Not particularly critical on Sunday, at least at the altitude we were at. Steeper slopes have to be assessed in terms of wet snow depending on the exposure, the flat glacier plateau more in terms of crevasse problems.
Overall impression
Very nice weather, uncomplicated tour with a surprisingly nice descent.
