Auf historischen Spuren: Lilienfeld, die Wiege des alpinen Skilaufs und Wirkungsstätte von Mathias Zdarsky (Muckenkogel und Hinteralm).

Snow condition
Very good, above-average snow conditions, especially at lower altitudes, which need to be exploited. Thanks to this snow situation, all the historic ski classics on the eastern edge of the Alps are currently possible.
Snow quality
During the ascent, I actually wanted to give it 4 stars. On the descent, however, it was clear that it wasn't fluffy enough for 4 stars. In the meantime, it was just old, settled snow. Still nice to ski, but not fluffy.
Risks
In principle, little problematic (Gutenstein Alps according to LLB level 1). Nevertheless, the traces of the potential sliding snow avalanche activity also announced in the LLB were unmistakable (snow mouths in very steep forest slopes).
Overall impression
Great ambience. Deep winter and beautiful views of the hazy Alpine foothills around St. Pölten as well as the dominant mountains on the eastern edge of the Alps such as Ötscher (1893m) and Schneeberg (2076m).
