Bivouac Building & Survival Skills

You will learn various methods of constructing a bivouac, focusing on those that are effective and efficient in alpine terrain. After a brief ski tour to your workshop location, you'll discuss the key considerations for building emergency shelters and the essential actions and mindset required for survival. Once the shelter is set up, it's time to enjoy camp life, including cooking, eating and relaxation.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Ascent: Physical condition for 1 hour of ascent (appr. 300m)
Descent: Safe and controlled skiing on black is required.
