Products produced between 1 May 2022 and 31 March 2023 are affected. The reason for the recall is a problem with the front jaws of the touring bindings. Under certain circumstances, there is a possibility of the spring axle breaking, which can lead to a false release. The spring axles are marked with red lines in the picture and are responsible for the contact pressure and the release behaviour.
If you bought your bindings during the period mentioned above, you can find out on the respective website whether your model is affected by the recall. If this is the case, you are entitled to have your toe pieces replaced. Important: If your binding is already mounted, do not dismantle it, but take the mounted ski to a dealer near you. Below you will find the relevant links to the brands' websites. There you will also find FAQs if you have any questions.
