The Back on Track freeride competition was postponed to April 12-14, 2013 due to unfavourable weather and avalanche forecasts and will now take place in more pleasant conditions at the end of the winter season. The Back on Track freeride event is now celebrating its premiere from April 12-14, 2013! In keeping with the motto "back to the roots of freeriding", some of the best freeriders from Vorarlberg will meet up with international freeride pros for the
joint end of the season. An almost perfect setup is on offer: Breathtaking slopes surround the base camp, the very cosy Saarbrückner Hütte (2,538 m above sea level).

So the idea is to get back to basics - a simple and nature-friendly way to head up into the wildest part of the Montafon mountains with skins and snowshoes.
