Once the 3 buckles have been tightened, it is no longer airy. Then the best hold is guaranteed. The heel is optimally pulled into the ski boot shell thanks to the 45° arrangement of the middle buckle and offers very good heel hold in any terrain. It only gets airy again when you consider the weight of just 1520 g per boot. This light weight has a very positive effect on long ascents without compromising too much on downhill performance. Here, the Roxa R3 comes very close to the performance of a piste ski boot.

The fit is slim, but due to the materials used, it is no problem to have the shell adjusted by a specialist. The inner boot can also be thermally adjusted to your foot. This was specially developed by Intuition for the Roxa R3 and makes a great impression.

With the inserts in the toe and heel area, you have the best connection to your PIN binding and with the GripWalk sole you won't slip so quickly even on rocky terrain.

For maximum freedom of movement on the ascent, the ski-hike mechanism in the heel area is activated and the upper buckle is released. This results in significantly more mobility and allows you to glide more smoothly through the snow. For the descent, close the ski-hike mechanism and the upper buckle again. And off you go to the next powder slope! The upper buckle is designed as a PowerStrap. This fixes the upper tongue cover perfectly and can be adjusted to any leg shape.
