In the wild west winter of 11/12, the Oracle started officially broadcasting on PowderGuide, and if I'm not mistaken, there wasn't much going on back then either until early December. But then really. Now it's a bit different, but at least the high spots that were rained on last Saturday are getting a refresh. Further up there's a lively weak layer loading.
Alarm period and areas
The alarm is once again going out from France to the Arlberg AND (strangely enough) from the Dolomites to Slovenia, with the entire Southern Alps also dangling around the alarm limit of 30cm. The low is criss-crossing the Alps. The alert will last until Thursday afternoon, although I'll include the small end on Friday/Saturday here.
Wind
First from the south at altitude, then from the north, but nothing too bad, so there's also Pow at the top. However, as the low pressure is moving over the Alps, there's also some wind inside the Alps, although it's not that strong
