You've obviously been busy at the Ullr shrine, because there's more to come. And as the old German saying goes: "The Ullr always dumps on the biggest heap", so it is again this time in the south. And the core is the same. The alert runs from today until Wednesday afternoon, but in the western south it has already started snowing heavily (or, er, not stopped at all?) and in the east it's starting again. In the west, however, most of it is theoretically already coming down today, so the totals are to be understood as including today.
Alert period and areas
It goes from Monte Rosa to Slovenia. The core extends again in the corner of South Tyrol, Trentino, Friuli, Upper Carinthia, East Tyrol.
In the north it is also flaking around, but there is nothing worthy of an alarm. The alert lasts until Wednesday evening in the east and until Wednesday morning in the west.
Wind
Significantly tamer than at the weekend and therefore a lot of fluffy stuff far above. The danger is of course that this will cover the blown-in areas, but they should be so thick that this shouldn't be so tragic. However, there won't be as much on the main ridge as recently and nothing at all in the north this time.
Snow line
Mostly around or below 800-1000m, only possibly rising to 1400m in the far east. So everything in the green zone for a südstau.
