Snow report Sölden, Ötztal, 03/22/2015
5 Tage in den südlichen Ötztalern - Venter Runde

Overall impression
Snow condition
Below average on the whole tour. Glaciers are well closed but after that it eases off considerably. On the south side you have to make sure you get into the valley.
Snow quality
Just brutal at the beginning. 10 cm high wind gangs and as hard as concrete. At least you can leave the rope in your backpack, nothing gives way. Apart from that, it snows more often at this altitude, so it's easy to catch.
Risks
The base appeared very stable. Favorable conditions. Of course, pay attention to diurnal warming (ascent Martin Busch Hütte).
Overall impression
Great mountains. We were able to do everything despite poor visibility. Gps intensive course... Generally there is really little snow. Ps.After that we spent 2 more days in Silvretta. As described by our colleague, much better snow conditions.
