3 Mal aufgefellt damit sich die verhältnismäßig lange Anfahrt auch lohnt. Guten Schnee gefunden und keine Materialschäden erlitten. So langsam wird es aber Zeit dass auch der Rest von Tirol mal Schnee bekommt :-)

There is virtually no snow. Even on the slopes, the ice and stones are coming through. Off-piste tours are virtually impossible on skis.

Nice piste wobbling to adjust the suspension on good snow. Of course there are already tracks up to the col du pillon. But with carrying passages.

Unfortunately a lot has melted away again. The little bit of snow that is forecast for tomorrow will probably not change anything apart from some cosmetics

Stretch our feet again with skis on, good times are over because of the warmth of the hairdryer.

a proper start at the Wiesenskilift, impressive how there is still much more snow in the lowlands or the city than in Emmental. But there's probably still enough for one or two north-facing dawn patrols over the cow pats

From zero to hero or something like that. Seriously, a great first day for us, less ground contact than expected and a few nice bends.

Getting warmer and no supplies in sight

After the rest of Tyrol unfortunately only received cosmetic amounts of fresh snow, the Arlberg was chosen as the tour destination with its acceptable measured values. We found good powder with sufficient snow conditions. Unfortunately, as the weather warms up, the powder fun on the southern slopes will soon come to an end. Luckily we were still early today to make tracks next to the snow cannons. The masses came up after us. Not worth it in the coming days.

It was ok, but still not the best day of the season. The sun was saying goodbye when I arrived... Descent to PP without any problems. Snow cannons were running, so the change between artificial snow and natural snow was a bit unpleasant. The tour was on piste, off-piste is not really an option here at the moment.

We used the morning weather window to open the season on the Schaui. The wind was blowing from the north at night, so the snow conditions on the south-facing slope were better than in the Rotlache. It's always especially nice when my dear colleagues turn up unexpectedly!

The first flakes have already fallen in Engelberg, but it still takes a while before you can think about skiing.

On 25.10 the conditions were still quite good on the steep north side above 3000m with a small layer of powder. Unfortunately, this changed due to the rain and the warm temperatures on October 26th. Unfortunately, an ice crust has formed up to the very top at 3400m, which is no longer soft on the north side, so we chose to ski down via a south-west facing glacier which was nice and soft at midday. The ski touring possibilities are generally very limited and you have to be prepared to carry your skis/splitboard until you are in the snow if you don't want to do piste tours. The pictures are from 25.10 & 27.10.

Made the most of the amazingly good weather and fine snow for another lift-assisted ski tour. Found some good turns and made the first summit of the season. Unfortunately, the forecast for the coming week(s) is not so great :/

Beautiful day on the Stubai Glacier. The conditions on the slopes were surprisingly good at the beginning (no ice slides as is usually the case at this time of year), then we made a few good powder turns with the help of our own muscle power.

It's cool to be able to go on a ski tour at home in September. The less than ideal conditions are almost a minor matter. It's a shame that fall is still to come. I could already start, the basis would already be laid from the middle altitudes.

Was quite ok. Very little snow at the bottom - but rapidly increasing snow depth. Few competitors.
