Snow quality

Pure pleasure. We were covered in powder from top to bottom. It's now capped on the south side and below 1000m there's honey on the north side too.

Triebschner is clearly recognizable in all exposures. Above the tree line, we were only below 30 degrees. My touring partner claims to have heard humming noises at around 2000m - I'll take his word for it.

Overall impression

Faceshots im Appenzeller Land! Auch der Schnee war durchgehend kopftief. Der fünfte Stern bleibt bloß aus, weil durch den angespannten 3er nicht alles möglich ist.
