Exposition
Snow condition
The snow conditions are generally very good. Exposed ridges and crests are still quite thinly covered. Otherwise you can feel the heavy load of the last week. Especially in the forest up to 1000m there is good snow. We were able to ski in very good snow up to about 1000m without any concerns. If you're above 1500m, there are no restrictions in the Golm area. As soon as the weather improves, there will certainly be some good runs to be had in the bowls.
Snow quality
As soon as the sun hits the slope, the fun is over. A slight orientation to the west and you have a cover. Where there is no cover or anything else, cold, light powder. That's a rarity for the end of March at this altitude. Had 5 runs in this terrain today, every run was a dream.
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
We didn't see any new signs today. A slope section >45° at about 1800m was perfect. No signs etc. to be seen. Our luck is that we were on the mountains a lot last week during the storm and were able to follow where the big packs were hanging. If you keep this in mind, you can ride quite freely.
Overall impression
You notice that the areas are only partially open. Wherever they are open, everything is completely snow-covered. The touring area is also very busy. Fortunately, many people are not there because of the good runs. Those who don't mind the effort still get great runs and good snow.
